Jasmine Jefferson is a multimedia journalist at Florida A&M University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. Jasmine is passionate about visual storytelling and producing innovative content that informs and engages audiences.
Jasmine has hands-on experience across multiple media platforms, including radio broadcasting, podcast production, and written journalism. She currently serves as a radio personality and staff member at 90.5 WANM FM, where she hosts live broadcasts, produces news segments, and conducts on-air interviews with guests. In addition to her work in radio, she writes news articles for The FAMUAN and co-hosts the Remix & Rewind Podcast, where she produces and edits audio content while helping manage the podcast’s digital presence.
Beyond broadcasting, Jefferson has contributed to multimedia storytelling through visual and editorial work, including serving as a fashion associate for Journey Magazine. Her technical skill set includes Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, video and audio editing, social media management, and digital content creation. She also holds a certification in The Art of Storytelling: Screenwriting for the Culture, which focuses on developing narrative structure and storytelling techniques for visual media.
